I love the concept behind this short french film I feel it is very realistic to our generation and personal to me because I am continually try to shun technology but here I am typing on a blog which is a technology based journal. I am always terrified that technology is making everyone more anti social. We are very good at capture a signal moment however the actual experience around it the memory is often forgotten because the world is so fast in pace and we are all try to keep up. Which creates this boundary for human interaction and making it more of a technological interaction. It is a sad harsh reality, which I feel will catch up with us one day and Francois Ferracci the director has explored this topic very well.
a short film looking at the horror of technology and how it will take over our lives an not cherish the simple things in life such as a Polaroid image, plain and simple. Also the fact that technology is powered and can be lost in an instant where as an actual image such as a Polaroid image is everlasting.
break down of the short film shown below
adding different features into the frame making it look very futuristic the scenery of the film is filled with the backdrop of holograms of different things: famous buildings, to Internet pages, to photo albums set facebook to adverts. It has a slight blue tint to the film which as a different element so it seems more realistic it would be in the future (2020). Giving it a darker blueish setting symbolising of what darkness is yet to come?
